個人簡介 Jian-Jang Huang (黃建璋) received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and the M.S. degree in Electrooptical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1994 and 1996, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 2002. He has worked with WJ (Watkins Johnson) Communications in California , as a Staff Scientist from 2002 to 2004. His job function includes design and characterization of high-speed electronic devices/circuits for wireless communications. He is also responsible for troubleshooting and benchmarking RF power amplifiers and mixers in the production level. He then came back to Taiwan in 2004 and stayed in Himax Tech. for a short time before joining the faculty members at NTUEE. Prof. Huang currently focuses on the fabrication and characterization of whitelight LED devices for general luminance and backlit purpose.  The "next-generation" LEDs developed in his group include LEDs with photonic crystal, low-junction temperature chips and ZnO based light emitting devices.  Furthermore, he is involved in the study of the radiation pattern of LED array.  Recently, his research group has also spent great efforts on the fabrication and characterization of ZnO based thin film transistors on both glass and flexible substrates. Prof. Huang is a member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society. He received the Best Student Paper award from the Optical Society of Taiwan in 1996 and a Gregory E. Stillman Fellowship in 2001. He has published 30 journal and conference papers in the field of electronic devices and optoelectronics.
