Dr. I-Chun Cheng’s main research interests are novel silicon materials and flexible large-area electronics. Her work includes:
• Nanocrystalline silicon thin films and device structures
• Preparation techniques of flexible organic polymer substrates and flexible metal foil substrates
• Amorphous and nanocrystalline silicon thin-film-transistors and active matrix on flexible substrates
• Thin film mechanics and stress control of film-on-foil system
Device physics in flexible electronics: interdependence of electrical and mechanical properties
